Hi Guys,

I recently bought nokia xpress music 5530 its lovely phone i had a problem that its screen has got stuck up i mean the dialer and contacts icon on screen are not workingalso other short cuts displayed are not visible.This happens after i installed couple of Applications like netquin antivirus,torchlite,theme,quick office.
I had tried to reset it by *#7370# & *#7780# but message appeared Request not complete.I am in deep trouble and puzzled what to do can some MOBILE GURU help me out pls pls pls

This is a known bug !!! you installed the apps with usb am I right Huh this is bacause when disconnecting the phone from usb it needs some seconds to load some files . then you tried to operate it bofore the pass of these seconds and the result is a corrupted file and an inactive homescreen  Sad
if your phone is hacked there is a quick solution otherwise you have to do a hard reset

I suggest you remove the battery for a while then remove the memory card and replace the battery . power on the phone and when it loads completely press *#7370# and this should do the work .

Its not working this way also i tried to reset it with *#7370# and *#7870# bit to no avail message appears Request not Complete also hard reset it by pressing Red Green and Camera button together on Startup but to no avail what to so now?Huh??

connect it to usb and open ovi suite . then open the software update utility. it will say that there is no update and you could try reinstalling the firmware. it's the last thing you can do
